American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began with support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and also played a minor role in the series that ran for a short time The Ex List. She was Kaylee an infant Moira in the initial season of on FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices of various characters in the comedy show Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when she and her mother relocated to California. They lived for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she first began to pursue an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
