Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell is a American chef television personality and an instructor from the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond hair and an ebullient appearance, shares tips on how to prepare restaurant-style meals in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell is also a part of some of New York's top eateries, learned about Italian cuisine and its traditions as well as was a contestant on Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in the Upstate New York area, Chef Burrell found a passion of cooking and food from a young age. After obtaining an English and Communications degree in Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her passion for the restaurant business by enrolling at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had my most memorable time in my life. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was an excellent place to study. After graduation, chef Burrell was able to spend a full year in Italy taking classes at Italy's Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners as well as working for La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. In Italy, Chef Burrell gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian cuisine. It made a huge impact on how she views food. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists kids with disabilities. She travels frequently around the nation in her capacity as a mentor as well as a an invited speaker, where she talks about her work and passion for cooking. Anne was always grateful that she had the opportunity to share her love of her life, and her passion for cooking, with people around the world.
