Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's superior strike skills enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed following this victory. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with an unanimous decision. She then lost her subsequent fight because of a split verdict. Antonina recovered from her loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the fight of the night bonus for the bout. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights beating Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been defeated by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
